(Morristown, N.J.)…Due to market demand reductions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we will have to suspend our U.S. to North Europe String 2 for 5 consecutive sailings beginning with week 20 (May 11 – May 17) through week 24 (June 8 – 14).
New York and Savannah origin cargo that would normally load on this service will shift to String 1.
Charleston will be added as a port of call to String 3, please note the following transit time differentials from the existing String 2 setup:
|Port of Discharge||String 2||String 3|
We are investigating further contingencies for Port Everglades origin as well as Liverpool and Rotterdam destinations.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
Please contact your Hamburg Süd representative with any questions that you may have.
