(Morristown, NJ)…Further to our Customer Advisory dated August 28, 2017, we would like to give you the following status update:

Port of Houston

The port remains closed today. Tomorrow however the Bayport and Barbours Cut terminals will open at 7:00am local time.

Vessel navigation will be restricted. Please see below for further details.

Hamburg Süd off-dock depots in Houston

Our off-dock depots have reopened today.

Vessel Operations

US Gulf/South America Service

•  Our “Monte Pascoal” voyage 80 inbound has diverted to Altamira/Mexico and discharged the Houston import cargo on August 29, 2017. The vessel subsequently sailed for South America.
•  “MSC Ludovica” voyage 726 inbound omitted the Houston call and discharged her import cargo in New Orleans.
•  “Monte Cervantes” voyage 80 inbound/81 outbound is scheduled to call Houston on September 5, 2017. A final decision whether a call is feasible will be taken as soon as we have more clarity on the navigational and operational conditions.

US Gulf/Mediterranean Service

“Rio Blackwater” voyage 729 has arrived in Galveston Bay and will await further instructions to call Houston pending further advice.

Final Delivery of Houston B/L Import Cargo

We will be in contact with affected customers whose cargo has been diverted to review individual arrangements.
