(Florham Park, NJ) …On June 23, 2021 we informed you about pending network changes for our Pacific Coast-Mediterranean Service (MCPS). This will result in a suspension of service connectivity to and from the Pacific Northwest (Seattle and Vancouver) and Latin America and Europe. Our PNW services to and from Australia/New Zealand as well as to and from Asia will not be impacted.
Out of Southern California we will improve the frequency and reliability of our West Coast Americas services by merging the fortnightly West Coast Central America service (WCCA 3) into a weekly Americas service. Starting on August 12, 2021 Hamburg Süd will be offering a weekly service to and from Long Beach and Port Hueneme with the following rotation:
Port Hueneme, CA -> Long Beach, CA -> Manzanillo, Mexico -> Puerto Quetzal -> Corinto -> Balboa, Panama -> Puerto Caldera -> Puerto Quetzal -> Lazaro Cardenas -> Port Hueneme, CA
In Long Beach we will be moving to the ITS Terminal (1281 Pier G Way E) starting with the departure of the “Sealand Philadelphia” voyage 130sb on or about August 12, 2021.
With this improved weekly product Hamburg Süd will be offering enhanced connectivity to and from Latin America, North Europe and the Mediterranean out of both Long Beach and Port Hueneme.
Please contact your Hamburg Süd representative with any questions that you may have.
